Always Watching

I sketched out the scene I wanted and created digital linework to place on the wall for a graffiti look. The wall was created with displacement textures: the brick texture and the image I drew. With this theme, I wanted to focus on the aspect of someone always watching you, while creating a, somewhat sketchy, area. And rather than creating a 3D figure as the person passing, I experimented with the Gobo Light Filter in Maya. (The rules also states that everything in your scene has to be original and not created in a previous project or by someone else).

This was an entry for a challenge on Instagram @Mondayschallenge. Each Monday, a theme is given along with a color scheme. The goal is to create a 5 second long animation with the requirements given before the deadline, which is the next following Monday.

Theme was Illuminati and the colors were: #4E3F68 #FDD553 #9B5A98 plus black and white
